The 2020 Event is CANCELLED

We are heartbroken to cancel the 2020 event, but we are already looking forward to June 2021 when we can all come together again. In the meantime, we’re leaving this information up to remind us how much fun we can have.

Our event always features fun entertainment for the whole family, especially your pups! This year we’ll see the return of Disconnected K9s, along with demonstrations of scent hounds, flyball, and agility. Join us for doggie games and enjoy a snack or meal at one of our food vendors while you browse merchandise and service vendors. And don’t forget to visit our shelter and rescue representatives to learn about their important work – and maybe meet a new forever friend!

See dogs fly!

We are excited that Furry Fun Days will once again be bringing you Disc-connected K9s!

Disc-connected K9s are the only performance team with dogs holding multiple World Championship Titles in the Skyhoundz World Disc Dog Championships. Their amazing team of humans and dogs perform and compete all over the world, including in Europe, Asia, South America, and Canada. These dogs are truly amazing athletes and they are all rescues!!!

This event is free and open to everyone so come join in and watch these incredible dogs. We request a $5 per car parking donation. All donations made at the gate go directly to our participating shelters.

Come play with us!

Join in the dog games! Fun party games are played throughout the day and are famously fun for your dog and you: ball lottery, doggie limbo, dress up your pup replay, musical hoops, and more!

Chasing the lure!

Does your dog go all out after a squirrel, rabbit, or other prey? Or do you have a sighthound breed? Try lure coursing with Barkby Plungers will give your pups a great work. It’s an exciting way for your dog to do what comes naturally, but in a safe, controlled environment. In lure coursing, dogs chase a mechanized, white plastic lure around a grassy field that simulates the unpredictability of chasing live prey. Zig-zagging across a big, open field is simply heaven for these dogs! At the same time, it helps improve their focus, agility and sportsmanship.

Summit Search and Rescue

On Sunday, check out demonstrations from bloodhounds from Summit Search and Rescue. These dogs train constantly to help with search and recovery missions and to help law enforcement. Learn about these amazing dogs and see them in action!

Underdogs Flyball

If you haven’t seen the exciting sport of flyball, come see Chambersburg’s Underdog Flyball team demonstrate. This team of dogs run at top speed, leaping over hurdles, to capture a ball and return it in a relay. It’s amazing to watch and a great way to learn about this sport.

Agility Demonstrations with Dandy Dog Training

Dandy Dog Training is South Central Pennsylvania’s top training facility, utilizing positive training for positive results. Ranging from basic obedience to advanced agility, learn about the benefits of training with your dog.

And more!

Along with all that, we have food vendors, merchandise and service vendors, shelters and rescues, and other non-profits. Dogs stay cool in our “splash town,” and we are located right along the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail – a great place for a walk.
